LEARN
Would you like to learn how to crochet? Is it something that you’ve never tried before but have always wanted to and you’re not sure where to start?
Learning any new skill or craft can be a little scary, making it so important that you get the right teacher and the right setting for you.
You can learn with me in a supportive, patient and fun environment, where you will get my help and guidance, acquired over 40 years of crocheting. This can be face-to-face in South Wales, with me and a small group of other eager people who want to learn or anywhere in the world through my soon-to-be-launched online learning platform.
Or are you already happily crocheting away but would like to try some new techniques?
Whether you’ve been crocheting for 60 days or 60 years, every day is a learning day. And I know from my own experience of scrolling through Instagram or browsing crochet magazines there are so many different techniques and types of crochet – there seems to be something new for you to try every week!
You can learn a whole new range of crochet skills with me – from Tunisian crochet to mosaic crochet, with a whole load of other goodies in between.
Wherever you are in your crochet journey, I’d love to help, if I may 🥰

Learn to Crochet in Person
You can learn to crochet with me in actual real life if you are able to (and are lucky enough to) get to South Wales in the UK (just look out for the dragons!)
You can come along to one of my regular workshops or courses in Jersey Marine (just off the M4 at Swansea) and Bridgend that happen every month, as well as my workshops in Glynneath.
If you want to learn the basics of crochet or a particular new technique, you’ll love a one-day workshop!
Usually taking place on a Saturday, you’ll have 5 hours with me to learn what you need and have time to practice what you’ve learnt.
The group size is kept small to make sure you get lots of support and guidance from me, as well as cups of tea, and maybe even a biscuit!
If you want to learn the basics or some more challenging crochet techniques in a bit more depth, my 3-week courses are just the ticket.
The beginners’ course is for anyone brand new to crochet, with everything you will need to know to get you started on your crochet journey – from holding the hook to making your first granny square.
If you are looking to learn new techniques and want to challenge yourself, the advanced course will do just that. You will learn how to create texture, use colourwork, and take your granny squares to the next level.
Taking place over 3 weeks (2 hours per week), with small group sizes, you’ll be well and truly on your way to mastering a range of stitches and techniques.
