With its 75% wool content, this triangular shawl has a luxury in both its feel and look that cannot be beaten, as well as the flexibility of being wearable throughout the year. Add to this the 25% nylon within the yarn, making this very hard-wearing. This triangular shawl is a perfect statement piece that is handmade and will last for many years and on a range of occasions, both formal and more relaxed.
Product Details:
It is a traditional triangular shape, with almost a vintage or boho look and is 170cm wide approx with a drop of 57cm approx.
Care Instructions:
Due to the fibres in the yarn used (75% Merino Wool and 25% Nylon), this item is:
– HAND WASH ONLY in tepid water and using a wool-specific detergent
– Roll in a towel and gently squeeze out excess water
– Lay flat and very gently move the shawl back into shape
– Leave flat to dry
– Too much handling of the shawl when wet/damp will cause it to become like ‘felt’.
This level of care is needed to give your shawl the treatment it deserves and needs, allowing it to last a long time. However, wool is very different from synthetic materials and does not need to be washed as regularly. This is not fast fashion.
