Happy Birthday to Me!

I explained in my previous post that I was taking part in my first ever blog hop and TODAY IS THE DAY that my Honeycomb Shawl pattern takes the stage for free! This offer is for one day only so keep reading for instructions on how to get the full, downloadable, ad-free PDF pattern.

Also, don’t forget that the e-book containing all of the patterns for this event and some gorgeous bonus materials is still available for CAN$25, but only for the remaining few days of September. After this, the e-book will no longer be available. The total cost of all of the patterns and extras in this book is worth over CAN$220 so it’s a heck of a good saving.

The fantastic Relax and Hook Blog Hop has been taking place with Small But Kinda Mighty all month and there have been some beautiful and wonderfully mindful crochet patterns available. This mindfulness was the main reason I wanted to take part, as good mental health is so important to me and crochet is vital to mine. I hope that you have had the chance to have a look around at what has been shared so far.

The pattern I have chosen to share as part of this event is my Honeycomb Shawl. I designed this shawl specifically with mindfulness as my main focus which led to a simple and repetitive pattern that creates a beautiful detail in the stitch that reminded me of a honeycomb.

It is also quick to make and only uses one 100g skein of 4ply wool or yarn. If you can, and you haven’t already got one in your stash, you could treat yourself to some extra luxury by purchasing a skein of hand-dyed yarn. Trust me when I say, that working with hand-dyed wool adds another level of mindfulness and enjoyment through the feel and texture of it. It is a treat! This shawl would then be a true indulgence for yourself or the perfect gift for a special person.
