This might just be the perfect rainbow and black shawl for you to wear at any time of year: as a scarf in the winter? Check. As a shawl on a cooler summer evening? Check. In a bandana style to save wearing a coat? Check. See? Perfect. I’ve put some suggestions for how to style this scarf in the photos to give you some ideas. I’d also say that this shawl is unisex and suitable for all.

And the other thing that makes this the perfect shawl, either for yourself or as a gift, is that it doesn’t look like many people’s ideas of what crochet looks like. Add to this the striking colours and you’ve got a really strong statement piece that will last for many years.

Description

Product Details:
The rainbow and black shawl is triangular, however, the longest side of it does have a curve, while the other 2 sides are straight, giving it a boomerang shape. The shawl begins with a width of 1cm and finishes at 60cm and it is 130cm long.

Care Instructions:
Due to the fibres in the yarn used (75% Merino Wool and 25% Nylon), this item is:
– HAND WASH ONLY in tepid water and using a wool-specific detergent
– Roll in a towel and gently squeeze out excess water
– Lay flat and very gently move the shawl back into shape
– Leave flat to dry
– Too much handling of the shawl will cause it to become like ‘felt’.

This level of care is needed to give your shawl the treatment it deserves and needs, allowing it to last a long time. However, wool is very different from synthetic materials and does not need to be washed as regularly. This is not fast fashion.
